Two drivers are hospitalized with serious injuries following a two vehicle crash on Lansing's north side.
The crash happened around 11 p.m. Saturday on East Cesar E. Chavez Avenue near the Ballard Street intersection.
Lansing Police tell News 10 a pickup truck and SUV were both traveling westbound on East Cesar E. Chavez Ave. when the SUV attempted to turn left onto Ballard Street.
The driver of the pickup truck improperly passed and both vehicles crashed.
One person in each vehicle were sent to the hospital. One driver is fighting life-threatening injuries.
Police identify both victims as men.
Accident investigators were on scene into the early Sunday morning hours processing the crash.
Multiple police departments responded including Michigan State University Police, Ingham County Sheriff's Department, and East Lansing Police.
East Cesar E. Chavez Avenue was closed down to traffic as crews investigated and cleaned up the crash.
