Former state lawmaker Todd Courser is facing one less criminal charge for attempting to cover up a extramarital affair.
At a hearing on Thursday an Ingham County judge dismissed one count of misconduct in office against Courser.
Courser still faces on count of perjury in Ingham County and another misconduct charge in Lapeer County.
Courser and former state representative Cindy Gamrat were charged after attempting to cover up their affair.
Gamrat's charges were dropped earlier this year.
