Investigators in Illinois are trying to figure out what caused a crash that killed a mid-Michigan couple earlier this week.
llinois state police say Charles Fuller and his wife Shirley of Holt were driving on I-80 in Grundy County, a little over 50 miles southwest of Chicago Tuesday, when their SUV went off the road, hit a tree and caught fire.
The couple was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved.
