An Oakland county judge took the stand on Tuesday in a hearing about her own conduct. Judge "Lisa Gorcyca" is accused of mis-handling a high-profile custody case.
She told the judicial tenure commission that she "exhausted all options" last summer before she held three children in contempt of court for refusing to speak to their estranged father.
Gorcyca sentenced the children to a juvenile detention for the summer.
She removed herself from the case in December after the judicial tenure commission filed a complaint against her.
