UPDATE: Suspect in Downtown East Lansing shooting expected in court on Monday

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WSYM) - Update: East Lansing Police confirmed that a 28 year old male will be arraigned on Monday, April 30, 2018 for the shooting that took place in Downtown East Lansing Saturday morning.

East Lansing Police are investigating following a shooting near a city nightclub.

Officers were called to the Six Lounge hookah smoke shop on the 400 block of Albert Street around 3:30 a.m. Saturday on reports of shots fired.

The suspect fired several shots outside of the nightclub from a vehicle. One bullet did hit the building but bounced off.

Smoke shop employees tell FOX 47 News it all started following a fight in front of Georgio's Pizza.

Nobody was hurt.

East Lansing Police Lt. Chad Connelly tells News 10 officers were called to the area of Haslett Road and Deerpath Road related to the incident. Officers were called to the area around 7 a.m.

Connelly says no arrests were made at that location.
