No one was hurt when a small plane crashed into a lake in northern Michigan Monday morning.
It happened in Leelanau County's Cedar Lake around 9:30 a.m.
The 59-year-old pilot was trying to land the sea plane in the lake, when it crashed and ended up upside down. The Traverse City man sat on top of the plane as help arrived.
The Federal Aviation Administration will be investigating to determine an exact cause of the crash.
