An attorney for Michigan's top health director says he will appeal a judge's decision that sends Nick Lyon to trial for charges connected to the Flint water crisis.

Lyon was bound over on four counts including involuntary manslaughter, misconduct in office and willful neglect of duty.

He's accused of failing to warn the public about the deadly Legionnaires' disease outbreak in Genesee county in 2014 and 2015.

The involuntary manslaughter charges are related to two men who died from the disease during the water crisis.
