Nick Lyon faces judge in the Flint Water Crisis

Michigan's health director, Nick Lyon, is back in court Monday for a preliminary hearing.

Lyon is charged with involuntary manslaughter and misconduct in office, tied to the Flint Water Crisis.

Monday, a judge will decide if Lyon will go to trial for the death of a man who had Legionnaires' disease during the water crisis. Officials say that a rise in Legionnaires' disease in Genesee County occurred when Flint switched their water supply.

Lyon is one of several people charged with involuntary manslaughter as part of in an investigation into Flint's water.

In January of 2017, authorities said that Flint's water system was tested and was free of levels of lead that exceeded the federal limit.
