MIDLAND COUNTY, Mich. (WSYM) — New bodycam footage shows just how drunk Midland County Sheriff Scott Stephenson was when he was pulled over in November.
Last Thursday, he pleaded guilty to drunk driving and apologized for his actions.
Officers found Stephenson asleep in his car. Investigators say he blew a .23 on a breathalyzer test.
That's almost three times the legal limit in Michigan.
A judge has sentenced Stephenson to a year of probation. The sheriff says he has no plans to resign.
