New pieces of road repair equipment are set to finally be put to use this week in Jackson County.
The Jackson County Department of Transportation says the new equipment's first road project will begin this week on Rosehill Road between Elm Avenue and Cooper Street.
The Jackson County Board of Commissioners voted to approve the $5 million purchase of the new technology back in March.
