LANSING, Mich. — The ground was "broken" on Tuesday for a nature pavilion.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the Fenner Nature Center's new building took place on April 9.
Lansing Mayor Andy Schor was in attendance, along with donor, Susan Davis.
Davis and her husband, Jack, are the namesakes of the "Susan and Jack Davis Nature Pavilion."
The ceremony official begins the construction phase of the pavilion, which according to the announcement, "will quadruple Fenner Nature Center's capacity by adding more than 1,600 square feet of four-season, accessible space."
