Wednesday morning a ribbon cutting will take place for the new Michigan State Police museum and learning center.
The center will be located in Dimondale at the State Police Headquarters.
Following the ribbon cutting, the museum will be officially open to the public.
It will be accessible every Wednesday for walk-ins and school group tours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Inside the museum will be a collection of hands-on exhibits, along with educational programs that highlight the first 100 years of the Michigan State Police.
