LANSING, Mich. — The Capital Area Women’s LifeStyle Magazine and Greater Lansing Business Monthly publisher Tiffany Dowling announced she is merging the two magazines to create a new regional publication called 517 Magazine.
“Our goal is to create a unique, dynamic publication that connects our communities across the full range of business and lifestyle topics that affect us,” Dowling said. “517 Magazine will lend its voice to the more modern aesthetic our community is taking on. It’s designed to fit the lifestyles and needs of people today by giving them the rich content they want in both short snapshots and longer investigative pieces.”
517 Magazine will be business-centric with splashes of lifestyle and community news featured throughout to give what Dowling and the magazine’s editorial team hope is a 360-degree view of the living, working and playing in the region.
“We’ve been publishing CAWLM and GLBM for more than a decade now, and this new magazine will embody the best elements of both magazines, while introducing new content and finesse that the community can be proud of,” Dowling said. “Although we loved publishing CAWLM and GLBM, 517 Magazine is an opportunity to breathe fresh life and energy into the distinctive stories our readers love.”
The first issue of 517 Magazine will be available June 1 in local businesses and online at 517mag.com. People can connect with the new magazine on Facebook and Instagram at 517mag to experience life in Lansing daily.
517 Magazine is published by M3 Group, a local publication group and full-service branding and public relations agency.
