Waiting a long time for test results should become a thing of the past. That's what Sparrow Hospital is hoping with the opening of the Sparrow Center for Laboratory Science.
Sparrow has one of the nation's busiest hospital laboratories and this lab will add advanced testing and quicker processing of the tens of thousands of Patient test results they receive every year.
Monday, Sparrow held a media tour to showcase the latest high-tech equipment analyzing DNA and detecting micro-organisms that can foreshadow diseases.
An open house for the community is planned for Thursday, June 28 from 4 -7 p.m. at the Center for Laboratory Science on 3392 Patient Care Drive in Lansing.
