We have new information about the house fire we showed you yesterday. Fire investigators no longer think Christmas lights caused the fire on Howell Road in Ingham Township.
Now they believe it started in the basement, but due to the heavy damage they aren't positive. This is what the home looked like around 12 hours after the fire.
The fire was so intense that the second story of the house collapsed.

It took crews about an hour to put the fire out, and nobody was home at the time.
