Holt will be getting a nearly $9 million housing development. It will include space for disabled veterans and others with special needs.

The Prestwick Community will also have housing for low-income individuals and families. Developers tell us, they'll help the tenants stayed connected with the services they need to keep them on their feet.

"To help people live healthier lives and this helps accomplish that goal by connecting housing with healthcare and other support services," said Dennis Mouras of United Health Care.

Groups like the Volunteers of America and the Department of Community Mental Health will be at the complex twice a week to help the tenants. People should be able to start moving in next month.
