Campaign office in Jackson prepares for debate

Jackson is the next Michigan city to house another GOP campaign office.

"We really need to reach out to where the people are and Jackson is one of the more major cities here in the state and it's really important that we have a base here," says Michigan state campaign chair Scott Hagerstrom.

The GOP and the Trump Michigan campaign are planning to use the campaign offices across the state to get people to watch the debate on Monday night.

"I think the debate will be a very defining moment, it will be very interesting, I'm sure it will be the most watched political event ever," Hagerstrom smiles.

Whether that's true or not, supporters who will be watching say what they think their candidate needs to do on the debate stage:

"I think he needs to show his sincerity," explains Mike Raczkowski, a Trump supporter, "what I think people always miss when they look at these things, you know they're not going to go into policy wonkville. What you're going to go into is 'how does he look?'"

But Jacob Jensen has his belief on what Clinton needs to do on stage:

"I'd like to see Clinton be president, and I think to really meet Trump more in the substance, because he does represent substance otherwise he wouldn't draw so many people."

Raczkowski tells me he has no doubt Trump will be in command of the stage:

"I think that he will blow away some of these misconceptions and harsh words that are being used."

Clinton supporters say they think Clinton just needs to be less stiff on stage, and she should be fine.

But supporters will be waiting anxiously to see how their candidate does on Monday night.
