Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero's office announces the arrival of a new auto supplier in Lansing. Tenneco Incorporated has moved into a facility in northwest Lansing.
The company has been up and running for about two months now. Tenneco will be a supplier to the General Motors Plant in Delta Township. Workers at the facility will supply parts for the three models built at Delta which include the Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia and the Chevy Traverse.
Ten people so far are employed at Tenneco, but the auto supplier plans to expand.
