LANSING, Mich. — A nuclear adventure opens at a popular museum on Friday.
It's the SMASH:Nuclear Adventure and it's inside Impression 5 Museum in Lansing.
The newest adventure to the site promises ways to create new isotopes, build atoms, and experience the world of nuclear science.
Funding for SMASH was made possible by TechSmith; Michigan State University's National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory, which is funded
by the U.S. National Science Foundation, and the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams, which is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Science;
MSU Federal Credit Union and the Desk Drawer Fund; and the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.
The exhibit opens to the public on Aug. 16, 2019.
Impression 5 is an interactive space for families to play, create, and challenge their understanding of science, according to their website.
