The city of Charlotte, Michigan unveiled a new brand for their community on Tuesday.
The goal was to bring the community together behind one "cohesive identity."
The new brand was revealed on two billboards across from the Charlotte Performing Arts Center on State Street.
A local marketing committee will develop a campaign around the new brand along with community materials within the next month.
“This community brand is one more push with the positive momentum being built in Charlotte,” Dillon Rush, executive of CharlotteRising, said. “It will help support and promote all of the exciting initiatives and plans currently making headway here, and brings us together behind one powerful and effective message.”
According to Rush it took nearly two years of research and planning to develop the brand.
