New CDC guidelines may change the way you vaccinate against the flu

Many families opt to get vaccinated against the flu, but nobody likes to get the flu shot, especially kids. That's why many families opted for the FluMist, but that won't be an option anymore.

The CDC has updated its flu vaccine guidelines and has determined FluMist to be subpar, recommending only the flu shot to immunize.

While families might not be happy about having only the shot as an option, the CDC believes parents will continue to vaccinate in spite of the less preferred method.
