A first of it's kind of an event is starting in Jackson County on Thursday.
It's called the Bright Walls Mural Festival and it kicks off at noon.
The event is poised to bring several national and international artists to town and paint murals.
The artists will be working on large murals on building walls in downtown.
The streets will also have food trucks for people to check out, live music, and art workshops.
The event runs through Tuesday.
