A man accused of breaking into a home in Delta Township is now behind bars, thanks to the watchful eye of a neighbor.
The Eaton County Sheriff's Office says 26-year-old Nikolas Marks of Lansing, broke into a home on the 600 block of Harriet Avenue around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
A person who lives there came home while he was inside. Investigators say Marks ran away and hid in a nearby backyard. But a neighbor saw him and flagged down police.
Marks is now charged with home invasion and obstructing justice.
