National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that's meant to encourage positive police-community engagement.
It's set for Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Millions of people take part in NNO from all over the world. Neighborhoods host block parties, festivals, cookouts, and other events. There are safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, and visits from emergency personnel.
