A three judge panel has denied Larry Nassar's appeal of his 60 year federal sentence on child pornography charges.
In the ruling issued Tuesday in the U.S Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, judges affirmed the district court's calculation of Nassar's sentencing range.
Nassar had argued that Judge Janet Neff erred when she considered his state convictions on child sexual assault charges when considering his federal sentence. He also argued his sentence was unreasonable when it required him to serve his federal sentence consecutive with his state sentence.
Nassar has also appealed his 40-175 year sentences on sexual assault charges in Ingham and Eaton County. A ruling in those appeals has not been made.
