Multiple subjects have been charged and arrested for breaking and entering across mid-Michigan.
The Ingham County Sheriff's office sent out a report on Monday, detailing the crimes and those arrested.
According to the report, they noticed that in April of last year there was a rapid increase of Breaking and Enterings being reported in Aurelius, Vevay and Ingham Townships.
The crimes ranged from home invasions, breaking into barns, stolen automobiles along with other motor vehicles.
The increase continued through August 2017.
The Sheriff's office ended up investigating approximately 51 Breaking and Entering reports during that time.
Out of those reports, Ingham County created a task force with Clinton County, Eaton County, and the Michigan State Police, along with support from the Lansing Police Department's Violent Crime Impact Team.
The investigation included hours executing search warrants, talking to leads and conducting interviews, travel to Jackson, Kalamazoo, Flint, and Clare. It took about a year and a half to complete.
The result - multiple subjects were charged and arrested for the crimes.
Some were even charged with additional crimes that were discovered as the result of search warrants.
Charges included: home invasion, Breaking and Entering, larceny from auto, narcotics, auto theft, weapons charges, as well as, receiving and concealing stolen property.
According to the report, 24 of the Breaking and Entering cases were solved with additional cases being cleared through the Task Force.
The stolen property is estimated to be worth $40,000.

Jamarr Paris Childress - 2 counts receiving and concealing stolen property, possession of heroin, felony firearm
