The man charged in connection with the murder of a Jackson teenager last summer has been bound over to Circuit Court on open murder and felony firearms charges.
22-year-old Hassan Moore is facing open murder and weapons charges in the death of 18-year-old Morris McBride.
McBride was shot and killed outside the reed manor apartments last July.
After a preliminary examination hearing in Judge Joseph Filip's court on Monday, the 22-year-old defendant was bound over to Circuit Court.
Open murder carries a maximum penalty of life and felony firearm carries a mandatory penalty of two years in jail.
