The East Lansing Police Department has received multiple reports of vehicles being broken into, and they want to remind residents to lock their vehicle’s doors.
The department states the break-ins occurred in the northern part of East Lansing. Some of the break-ins were forced entry, but several involved unlocked doors.
Item’s stolen included purses, backpacks, cash and other valuables.
The police department reminds residents to lock their vehicles’ doors, and also remove all valuables from inside of the car.
