HAMLIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WSYM) - Two people are dead following a two-vehicle crash in Eaton County Sunday afternoon.
First responders were called to the intersection of South Clinton Trail and East Bellevue Highway around 3:45 p.m.
Michigan State Patrol said an 18-year-old driver was driving on the highway when they didn't stop at a stop sign. The teen's car hit another vehicle headed south on Clinton Trail.
Both people in that car died. The teen suffered minor injuries, according to emergency officials on scene.
Troopers said alcohol is not suspected in the crash.
The identities of those involved have not been released.
The roadway was expected to reopen sometime after 10 p.m.
