Several little fires broke out on the traffic islands between the Heights and the movie theater in Eastwood Towne Center.
Lansing, Lansing Township, and East Lansing fire departments all responded to the scene and got the fires out.
No word yet on what caused the fires.

Firefighters are hosing the islands down, the fire is expected to be completely out soon.
