Michigan State University made it's first payment to survivors of Larry Nassar, but the school will stop reimbursing them for therapy.

On Tuesday, MSU transferred the first $425 million in it's historic $500 million settlement with survivors. Therefore, the university says it's shutting down the Healing Assistance Fund, which helped survivors pay for therapy.

MSU Trustee Brian Breslin says the fund was only intended to help survivors before they received the settlement money.

The remaining $8.5 million in the Healing Assistance Fund will be redirected into the settlement account.
