A Michigan State University physicist accused of bestiality will stand trial.
That decision was handed down Thursday by a judge in Ingham County.
Joseph Hattey has been charged with sodomy, after there were claims of Hattey performing a sexual action with a dog.
Hattey has denied the claims. His attorney, Patrick O'Keefe, arequested special hearing to testify on a tattoo Hattey has on his leg.
His attorney claims that the tattoo on Hattey's leg is not seen in the picture of the man performing the sex act. Hattey claims he has had the tattoo for 15 years.
