MSU medical resident charged with sexual assault held without bond

 The Michigan State University medical resident charged with sexual assault will remain in jail.

Michael Phinn was formally charged Wednesday on several counts including first and second-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Phinn is currently behind bars and being held without bail.

He is accused of sexually assaulting at least two women at the MSU Clinical Center.

Phinn is scheduled to be back in East Lansing District 54B court on October 26 at 8:30 a.m.
