MSU launching emotional support app for students

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WSYM) - Michigan State students will soon be able to get help from a counselor 24 hours a day.

The school is launching a new app that allows them to talk, or text with a counselor, 24-7, when they are experiencing mental health or emotional issues.

Originally, the app was only available to International students.

This summer it will be available for all students.

It goes live on June 1.
