It's a simple procedure that could save a life.

Today the Michigan State University football and field hockey programs hosted a bone marrow donor registry drive.

Organizers say the sign up process and "mouth swab" procedure only takes about 10 minutes. Andy Talley said, "Which then would put that person on the Bone Marrow Registry so, if somebody with sickle cell anemia or a cancer blood disease that needs a bone marrow transplant they potentially could save a life."
