"People see some new items there, some overhangs, that lot is open. and it gives people the opportunity to take the shuttle like they traditionally do."
With all the lots open,students still feel that is not enough.
students tell me that parking is way too crazy and doesn't leave them with many options.
"Maybe put more parking around the stadium, so people dont have to take up the parking lots that the students use, put in more meters, maybe put parking outside of MSU and people can commute."
Additional parking lots will help in the long run.
But also,students see disorder in short term parking.
Shane Parker suggests drop off zones.
"If you're coming to drop someone off, park for fifteen minutes and just drive away, becasue we see a lot parking real quick taking up spots, things like that just casuing absolute chaos, completely disorganized."
Where there is a football game, parking will be a challenge.
"Just remember its the first game of the season and patience is important, just because there are some people for the first time who've never been here."
