A new data center on MSU's campus is the new hub for the university's technologies, and will help students teach, learn, and research in the digital age.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Thursday morning for the more than 25-thousand square foot facility.
It will support expanded computing capacity, security, high-performance research comuting and digital learning demands of the university.
Annual utility savings are estimated to be around 600-thousand dollars through the consolidation of three university enterprise data centers.
