On Wednesday morning we all should have a better idea of when Michigan State University will hire a new president.

Two Board of Trustee members will be giving an update on the search at ten o'clock.

Trustees Dianne Byrum and Melanie Foster will unveil a timeline for the selection process and they will also be available to answer any questions.

Byrum and Foster are leading the presidential search.

Interim Ppresident John Engler has been under fire for his emails criticizing survivors of Larry Nassar, but during a board meeting last week, members voted 6-2 to not fire him.

Byrum and Brian Mosallam were the two members who voted for the firing.

Engler was hired in February after Lou Anna K. Simon resigned in the wake of the Nassar scandal.

MSU's Board of Trustees has said they are not rushing the search and their goal is to have a candidate selected by next spring.

Also happening on Wednesday, FOX 47's David Andrews will sit down with John Engler for a One on One interview. They will touch on everything from the criticism Engler has received since he took the job to his drive to stay on as President through the turmoil. That interview will be available later on Wednesday and you can see it on FOX 47 at Ten.
