When Michigan State Police attempted to pull a vehicle over in Hillsdale County for a registration plate violation, the vehicle took off, leading police on a 10-minute pursuit.
The MSP reports that the suspect tried to flee from police, and crashed his vehicle in a private driveway. He then ran into the woods near the crash site and was apprehended by responding troopers.
The driver, a 35-year-old man from Osseo, was found to be in possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, in possession of suspected analogues, driving without a license and also was carrying a concealed firearm with ammunition as a convicted felon, the MSP reports.
After the suspect was medically cleared, he was arrested and lodged at the Hillsdale County Jail.
