LANSING, Mich. — A car crashed into the Zion United Methodist Church at the intersection of Cooper Street and Zion Road, on Sunday night.
The Michigan State Police Jackson Post responded to the crash at 8 p.m.
The 22-year-old driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Henry Ford Allegiance Health Hospital for observation.
Police suspect the driver was intoxicated at the time.
