HANOVER Twp., Mich. (WSYM) -- A man is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a motorcycle crash in Hanover Township early Sunday morning.
The man was heading east on Hanover Road around 2:20AM when he lost control of his motorcycle.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office says the man hit a guardrail on the north side of the road then re-entered the road and he was thrown from the motorcycle.
The 37-year-old Vandercook Lake man was transported to Henry Ford Allegiance hospital with life threatening head injuries.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office says the man was not wearing a helmet and that alcohol and speed appear to be factors in the crash.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
