Police were able to stop suspects trying to steal tires and rims from Candy Ford in Charlotte early Tuesday morning, and they were able to arrest one of them too.
Eaton County prosecutor Doug Lloyd says the suspects had a van ready to load up with tires and rims before police showed up.
This is another Ford dealership hit in recent weeks. Pauli Ford in St. Johns was robbed before Memorial Day and Candy Ford's owner, John Dykstra says Courtesy Ford in Okemos and Galesburg Ford were hit as well for similar thefts.
In St. Johns, the thieves were able to get away with more than $30,000 worth of tires and rims, and were poised to take about $40,000 had they not been stopped by police.
The man arrested by police is expected to be arraigned in court on Wednesday.
