A Hudsonville mom is frustrated because her daughter's school makes her walk down a road with a 55 mph speed limit to catch the bus.
So, she's turning to the internet.
Sarah Koetje said she's asked the transportation department to move the stop to the end of her driveway but they said all they could do was switch to the other side of the road so she wouldn't have to cross.
"She likes to ride the bus. So I want her to ride the bus. I can bring her to school, which is more of a hassle. I mean, it's not far. It's just, loading the kids up and bringing her every morning. But the whole point is, that's what the bus is for, for them to ride it," Koetje said.
The school board says it doesn't have the time or staff to provide door-to-door service for every student.
