During a routine traffic stop in Jackson Monday afternoon, two people jumped out of a car and the officer found two one-pot meth labs inside.

The traffic stop happened around 2 p.m. on Michigan Avenue near Summit Avenue, Deputy Chief Elmer Hitt said.

When the officer pulled the vehicle over, two suspects jumped out of the car. One of the suspects, a 25-year-old male, was found with some finished meth on his person. He was arrested for possession of meth, as well as an outstanding felony warrant and resisting and obstructing.

The Jackson Narcotic Enforcement Team responded, and cleaned up the two meth labs inside the vehicle.
