Governor Snyder spent over three hours testifying but representative Gretchen Driskell believes more questions should have asked.
"Leadership in the state has fallen down very much and the Governor is responsible for that" said Rep. Driskell.
She believes since Snyder hasn't released all of his emails, the committee couldn't ask everything.
"Government Oversight committee is suppose to find out what the problems are and what happened and make sure it doesn't every happen again and they're not doing that" Rep. Driskell said. "They're not requiring the records to be open and that's one of the biggest problems."
Driskell says all of the negative attention on Michigan is ruining the state's reputation.
"It's put a really big black eye on our state, you know the whole pure Michigan image is just really destroyed right now" Rep. Driskell said.
But Lt. Governor Calley says instead of focusing on what happened there needs to be more talks of solution.
"We all know that this was a failure of government at the local, state and federal levels" Lt. Gov. Calley said. "There is progress being made, it's never as fast as what anybody would want. There's a tremendous amount of work yet to be done"
Flint representative says that work towards progress is what's most important.
"These hearings, I guess for them are important but there's no sum of a finger pointing game that's going to fix any of Flint's problems." Rep. Phil Phelps said. "So, I would much rather prefer they focus on some of the proposals that are laid out before them to help Flint."
He says instead of pointing blame, they need to point towards solutions.
