LANSING, Mich. — MiStore, the state's semi-annual surplus store, will be opening its doors to the public for a one-day sale.

The sale will happen this Saturday, and the goal is to unload excess property from federal, state and local government agencies.

The store has a vast inventory of excess items coming from property seized by police, items voluntarily surrendered at airports, surplus property from local public colleges and items no longer needed by government agencies.

The store is located on West Saint Joseph Street in Lansing and will be open from 8 a.m. until noon.
