Sparrow Children's Center patients got a special visitor Friday.
Miss Michigan Emily Sioma went room to room to visit the children and spent time in the hospital's pediatrics playroom.
Sioma was crowned in June.
She is from Grass Lake in Jackson County.
Miss America is a corporate partner of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
Sparrow is the area's only miracle network hospital.
