The Michigan woman who made a big splash on the Miss America stage last month will be helping out the city she told the world about.
Miss Michigan Emily Sioma will join Flint families for "Imagine A Day Without Water" event.
The event, now in its fourth year, raises awareness about the importance of water.
You may recall that Sioma introduced herself on the Miss America stage last month as from "the state where 84% of the U.S.'s fresh water is but none for its people to drink."
On Wednesday in Flint, Sioma will join Flint Water Activists for a church service and to hand out bottled water.
