LANSING, Mich. — Outgoing Lt. Governor Brian Calley was named president of the Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM) and leads it's communication and government affairs efforts.
SBAM is a non-profit organization made of small business owners to maintain the interests of small businesses without the interference from big businesses.
Calley has been an advocate for small businesses during his time as lieutenant governor and worked closely with outgoing governor Rick Snyder to expand economic and employment growth.
“I am thrilled to advocate for the men and women who open and operate small businesses across our state, and for the individuals who make those businesses run,” Calley said. “Small businesses power Michigan’s economy, and I’m ready to roll up my sleeves again to support them."
