Electors in Michigan are set to cast their vote for the President of the United States on Monday in Lansing.
When the 16 electors cast their vote, it's expected that President-elect Donald Trump will receive all of them. There are still calls for those electors to change their vote, despite a state law stopping those electors from voting against the party that appointed them.
"I've received a lot of aggressive, angry, hateful messages from people who frankly don't understand our election process," one elector, Michael Banerian said.
It's possible in other states for electors to vote against their own party, but in Michigan, that elector could be removed from their position.
